The Story Behind Yoga and Medicine

Yoga has always been a way for people to relieve stress and manage through their everyday lives. The various positions stretch your body and allow you to breathe in a more relaxed state. So why shouldn’t yoga be another form of medicine? Most pills and liquid forms of medicine have side effects that are harmful than what they are supposed to be treating you for. Yoga is a natural way for someone to heal themselves without having to worry about side effects that pills and liquid medications have. In the past, people have looked to medication to relieve pain, anxiety, and numerous amounts of other things they may be feeling.

  1. I agree that yoga is a way to relieve stress and make a person feel better. I think yoga could be a form of medicine. Just not the kind that is harming your body. I like how you used the past to make a point.
