Yoga has always been a way for people to relieve stress and manage through their everyday lives. The various positions stretch your body and allow you to breathe in a more relaxed state. So why shouldn’t yoga be another form of medicine? Most pills and liquid forms of medicine have side effects that are harmful than what they are supposed to be treating you for. Yoga is a natural way for someone to heal themselves without having to worry about side effects that pills and liquid medications have. In the past, people have looked to medication to relieve pain, anxiety, and numerous amounts of other things they may be feeling.

Why I Chose My Topic
Yoga was always something that fascinated me. The way you can allow your body to do certain positions and breathing techniques amazes me. I never was a big fan of taking any type of liquid form of medication. Drinking it made me even sicker. So I wondered if there was another way to relieve whatever pain I had without drinking liquid medicine or popping a pill? That’s when yoga came into play! Instead of having to spend money or pills or liquid medications, I can stay home, save money, and practice different yoga techniques. I would much rather work out my body than get forced to take an oral form of medicine.
